This mirror is made mosaic style with shredded paint chip samples applied to the wooden surface. It measures 10" x 10" with a wide wooden frame on which the art is applied.

Whether you call it reuse or upcycling this cheery 10" x 10" wooden mirror measures 10" x 10" - 25.4 cm x 25.4 cm and is all ready to hang. The surface collage is made of a beautiful and happily colored wrapping paper which I shredded and applied to the wooden surface.

This mirror is done with reuse with bits of leftover oil paint applied to the surface in earthy colors of greens, oranges and white. After that I decided to use Sgraffito which is a term that simply means scratching into the surface (used on walls, paintings, clay, etc.) to complete this piece; I scratched designs into the surface to create both texture and interest in an otherwise okay, but perhaps a bit plain piece without that extra bit.

The freewheeling colors of this wooden mirror started by my hand coloring heavy paper using mixed media, at which time they were shredded, then applied mosaic style to create this keepsake to cherish.

This 10" x 10" wooden mirror has hand-painted canvas, applied mosaic style then sealed with varnish. The rich earth-tones are accentuated by the shiny black paint that provides a rich contrast.

These designs are made cohesive both by the black paint contrasting against the colors of each painting piece used but also because it's all compiled within an Autumn color scheme. Completed in a mosaic style the various canvas piece compilation was given a protective varnish coat that offers a shine that enhances it's already rich coloring.
